Madam, - As the United States prepares to change its daylight saving hours I think now is an opportune time to consider the move ourselves. A move to, say, the first Sunday of March (clocks forward) and first Sunday of November (clocks back) would have many benefits for the people of the country, not least the potential energy saving it would provide.
