Sir, – I would like to congratulate RTÉ, and more precisely, Dick Warner, on his Waterways – The Royal Canalseries currently showing on Sunday evenings. As someone who has lived their whole life beside the Royal Canal Mr Warner's voyage along the canal's still waters has ignited my interest in its history, surrounding landscapes, and its potential as a tourist attraction.
