A chara, - It is with great sadness and regret that I read about the retirement of Councillor, and former TD, Tomas MacGiolla of the Workers' Party.
Although I do not live in Tomas's electoral area, I believe he is a very hardworking and capable man. He has certainly done Trojan work in the Dail for his constituents in Dublin West and in Dublin Corporation for those in Ballyfermot. Even Tomas's political opponents agree with this.
