Sir, – Olivia Kelly reports that Dublin City Council has told developers of the proposed 15-storey tower on York Road in Ringsend that it would be interested in acquiring it for social housing (Home News, October 29th).
Can the council not recall its previous record of social housing in towers – in Ballymun? – Yours, etc,
