Sir, - Would someone please explain to me how, with all the inquiries and think-tanks on the traffic situation in our capital, no one has suggested synchronising the traffic light sequence. It makes absolutely no sense to see a traffic light turn green, only to be faced with a light turning red not 200 metres ahead. This must be a major cause of road rage as well as gridlock. I have not experienced it in any of the countries which I have visited.
