TRAIN TRAVEL

Sir, I recently took the train from Dublin to Cork. To my surprise, I was told that a one way ticket was £33 whereas a return ticket was £32.

If Iarnrod Eireann hopes that people will be stupid enough to buy a one way ticket, why does it only charge £33? Surely £50 or more, would be more appropriate. - Yours, etc.,
