Sir, – How ironic that Donald Trump feels obliged to lecture us by tweet (News, March 12th) about his serious concerns for the increasing complexity of aircraft, when he regularly jets around, at the US taxpayers’ expense, in the world’s most technologically advanced passenger jet. Something tells me he won’t be lowering his standards by having to take the bus to Mar-a-Lago in Florida for a round of golf any time soon. – Yours, etc,
