Twitter and online hatred

Sir, – Laura Kennedy writes that Milo Yiannopoulis "isn't being banned for incitement, he is being punished for his politics" ("Why Twitter was wrong to ban Milo Yiannopoulos", Life, July 20th). Yiannopoulis has shared his political views on Twitter for several years now, without interference. He was banned this week for encouraging his followers to attack Leslie Jones, by sharing doctored images that made it seem like she had made various anti-Semitic and homophobic slurs. I think it is reasonable to regard that as incitement. – Yours, etc,
