Sir, - As a Christian, I am utterly disgusted by the scenes displayed on international TV showing Protestant demonstrators abusing Catholic schoolchildren for simply trying to get to school.
If people on both "sides" have a problem, they should be solving it through discussion, not abusing defenceless children. The argument that "they were going through our Protestant area" makes me want to vomit. How incredibly childish to think that way!
Both sides of this amazingly stupid argument between Protestants and Catholics bring the name of Jesus Christ into absolute shame and embarrassment. Have they never read the Bible?
They should grow up, and stop abusing little children. Jesus said: "Let the children come to me, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these." - Yours, etc.,
