Madam, - Gerald Morgan (November 9th) lauds "the far-seeing efforts of Trinity College to move away from any notion of cloistered peace".
This might have some credibility if Trinity College had not eliminated all signs of daily life from those large sections of Pearse Street and Westland Row which, sadly, it owns.
Any less august property developer would surely have been prosecuted for this blatant dereliction of the city centre. - Yours, etc.,
