Madam, - May I, as an active Unitarian lay preacher, comment on your news feature about the Rev George Exoo ("Meeting the minister for suicide") on May 17th?

Whether you agree or disagree with what George Exoo is doing, please remember, however hard this may be to grasp, that Unitarians do not espouse any doctrine or creed or dogma as either normative or imperative.

Therefore it would be particularly inappropriate for the Unitarian movement as a whole or any particular individual Unitarian to be tarred by association in this matter.
