Madam, - Since our Government has been mute about the US- and British-led illegal war against the Iraqi people, may I, through your columns, seek answers concerning the onslaught on the city of Falluja?
1. What is the plight of civilians still alive, especially of women and children, in this bomb-devastated city?
2. Why has no report been issued on civilian casualties?
3. When will the US and British Forces stop besieging the cities of Iraq? Will Mosul be the next to be destroyed?
Having lived in diverse African countries I became aware that only the poorest and most vulnerable of citizens remained trapped inside when cities were besieged. Is this how the US brings democracy to the world? - Yours, etc.,
