Madam, - My joy at Bernard Dunne's victory in the Point on Saturday night was tempered by the amount of time Esham Pickering spent waiting in the ring for Dunne to make his entrance. Fifteen or 20 minutes spent in front of a partisan crowd, with the odd coin being thrown for good measure, can't have helped his pre-fight preparations. Surely a time limit should be set for the entrance of the second fighter into the ring when a title is at stake, with perhaps a point being deducted for a late entrance. - Yours, etc,
MICHAEL WALSH, Dún Laoghaire, Co Dublin.
