Sir, - On the afternoon of Thursday, October 7th, we were part of a large group of people who waited for up to 55 minutes, from 3.30 p.m. to 4.25 p.m., at a Dublin Bus stop in Nassau Street claiming to serve six bus routes: 5, 7, 7A, 7X, 8 and 45. During that time, only a 45 bus sped past, packed. At least six buses bearing the sign "Out of service" passed us by, as did other buses on other routes. Eventually, we boarded a bus, serving route 7. Is this a record? - Yours, etc.,
