Madam, - While delayed on the DART for 15 minutes yesterday, I had plenty of time to read the letter from Barry Kenny of Iarnród Éireann (May 6th), ridiculing the fact that credence had been given to a story that there were going to be seats-free DARTs.
It is suggested that this was an April Fool's joke.
However, what Iarnród Éireann is currently supplying at weekends is not just a seats-free DART but a DART-free DART service.
The only joke is the public transport service currently provided by Iarnród Éireann, but not too many people are laughing. - Yours, etc.,
