Sir, – RTÉ’s coverage of the Galway Races is superb, as usual, but I don’t think I’m the only viewer who is put off by spectators gurning into the camera and waving their mobile phones as they gather around the unfortunate presenters conducting the post-race interviews. Sky can manage to cover the same meeting without the paddywhackery that RTÉ viewers are inflicted with. I suppose I can always switch over if RTÉ prefers. – Yours, etc,
