Sir, – In Saturday’s letters (October 31st), we had a proposal that up to €1 billion should be spent on Ireland’s racecourses (from a Mr Freeley), a complaint about level-crossing delays (from a Mr Reddy) and concerns about sugary foods (from a Mr Sweetman). Presumably you had no space for Mr Bells’s views on the Angelus. – Yours, etc,
