Sir, Many of the media are referring to the British Lions. As an Irishman with a proud tradition in rugby I am sure the Irish members of the tour party and their families are not impressed with this. I will be travelling to South Africa for some of the tour and I will display the "green" element of the tour along with many of my fellow Irishman (North and South). The days of empire building are long gone. Let's hear it for the boys in red, blue, green and white. Why not just call them Lions? - Yours, etc.,
