Sir, – My 82-year-old mother and I find ourselves wondering where are the Magdalene fathers in all of the current debate?
Every baby born in a Magdalene home had a father and for every girl put into a home to prevent her getting pregnant there was presumably a man or men willing to make her so.
What do they have to say for themselves? Who are they apologising to? They can’t all be dead and their silence is deafening. – Yours, etc,
