Sir, - Ursula Hough-Gormley is to be congratulated on her letter of March 19th. I agree with all the points she made about the suitability of the Carlton Cinema for the Abbey Theatre What a splendid link it would make in a cultural chain with the Gate Theatre, the Hugh Lane Gallery, the Writers' Museum and the prestigious Gresham Hotel!
It would also restore some dignity to O'Connell Street, so sadly lacking at present. - Yours, etc.,
