A chara, – Fintan O’Toole chooses Bohola to illustrate his point about “German-funded” infrastructure (“The German taxpayer does not seem to be in the mood to pay for bridges in Bohola and sewerage in Sligo”, Opinion, October 26th). As a resident and native of Bohola, I would be grateful if we had received any comparable funding from EU or national Government that has been provided to Dublin. We still await our Luas, M50, National Convention Centre and subsidised public transport.
