Sir, - Áine Ní Chonaill of the Immigration Control Platform tells us (The Irish Times, January 29th) that Ireland is "hurtling down the same road as Britain and Irish people did not want to emulate the British multiracial experience".
When was Ms Ní Chonaill given the right to speak for Irish people? Did a majority of Irish people vote for her programme? Does she know anything of my experience as an immigrant in other countries when she speaks for me?
In fact, does she even know anything of my "monoracial" experience in Ireland before she presumes to do so?- Yours etc.,
