Sir, - How could The Irish Times publish an otherwise good article on wine in Ireland (May 15th) without mentioning the International Museum of Wine at Desmond Castle, Kinsale? Not only do visitors to the museum learn how the history of wine and Ireland intermingle but they also benefit from the travels of the Chevaliers of the Order of the Wine Geese, a group that was founded at the opening of the museum last year. The Chevaliers, at personal expense, travel the world, visiting vineyards, wine merchants and distributors with Irish connections.
