Sir, – Olivia Kelly's "More seats up for grabs on Dublin City Council" (Home News, May 10th) was a very concisely written piece. Reading it, I wished that some councillors would, on occasion, use so few words to give so a full picture .
However, there was one notable omission. There were three, not two, Fine Gael women councillors – Mary O’Shea, Clare Byrne and myself. None of us is offering ourselves for re-election. Mary has been the Fine Gael group leader on the council since 2012 and used her Kerry wisdom to the benefit of our group and capital city and served her constituents with distinction. – Yours, etc,
