Work on flood relief scheme

Sir, – Further to Anne Marie Kennedy's letter of June 24th in relation to the flood relief works on the Dunkellin river refers, I am happy to inform Ms Kennedy and your readers that work on the Dunkellin river flood relief scheme is due to begin in August, following the completion of water sampling and data gathering undertaken in compliance with An Bord Pleanála's decision to approve the scheme. – Yours, etc,
