Madam, - I am writing to protest against the Ireland-Zimbabwe cricket games scheduled to be played on June 13 and 15th. The Zimbabwean Cricket Union is deeply corrupt, an organisation mired in political cronyism, with Robert Mugabe as its patron. It does not tolerate players such as Andy Flower and Henry Olonga who bravely speak out against the terrible abuses perpetrated by the Zanu-PF regime. Therefore we should not tolerate them playing sport on our island. I urge the Irish Cricket Union to reconsider. - Yours etc.,
EDWARD BURKE,
