Sir, - Well done to Mary Robinson on her decision to leave the UN High Commission for Human Rights. Lack of funding, poor management and bureaucracy have made the organisation ridiculously ineffective and such a high profile critic on the outside with inside knowledge may prove just the formula to bring about the much needed change.
With high morals increasingly rare on the higher ground, her outspoken, fearless approach is refreshing. - Yours, etc.
