Sir, - I wish to protest in the strongest possible terms at your misuse of the hallowed Defence Forces title, - "Oglaigh na hEireann", in an IRA context (cartoon, March 9th).
You are obviously oblivious to the Defence Forces' sensitivity and anger at this hijacking of their cherished title. Your cartoonist's ascribing of the title to the IRA compounds and condones this illegal subversive hijack. - Yours, etc.,
