Irish right wing extremists are getting help and advice from groups all over the world.
The instructions to the men – it’s an overwhelmingly male movement – who log on to the meetings, which can happen daily, ranges from the importance of getting off social media to train to fight to burying pigs on sites earmarked to house mostly Muslim refugees.
They talk of urgent, violent action and as crime and security correspondent Conor Gallagher discovered, some home-grown groups such as Comhaltas na nGaedheal consider well-known anti-immigration activists, such as Gavin Pepper or Hermann Kelly, to be moderates.
The momentum behind these groups is terrifying and anti-immigration groups are getting more violent, more prepared to act directly, to attack asylum seekers and the tents they sleep in.
