On November 1st, leading Fit Out companies from across the country will gather to celebrate those who impressed in an industry that has accelerated growth once again this year. The seventh annual Fit Out Awards will be the largest to date, and the shortlist features 27 different categories to be decided on the night.
With the construction industry showing growth for the 61st consecutive month in September, the increased demands on the fit-out industry has provided a challenge that is bringing out the best in those nominated. Keith Somers, head of design at the Staycity Group, leads the team of judges who will decide the winners on the night, and he has been highly impressed by the level of entries; "The standard of entries that I have witnessed over the last four years continues to improve year upon year and is testament to the creativity, hard work and dedication of the entire industry in firstly reaching 'best in class', and now in leading it across a number of territories."
The awards are supported by a large number of sponsors, who assist those working within the Fit Out industry. Many view it as a key opportunity to network with potential clients and exchange ideas on where the sector is headed in the future. While discussing the announcement of this year's shortlist, David Barry, marketing manager at Walls to Workstations, spoke proudly of their involvement as a key sponsor:
“W2W have been sponsoring the Office Category of the Fit Out Awards since they began, so we've seen massive growth over the years. As a leading sub-contractor in the Irish office fit-out market, we knew at first hand the high quality of work being done in the industry and felt sure that all of the professionals would welcome an opportunity to showcase their efforts. This has proven to be the case and the Fit Out Awards is now a fixture in the diary for our industry. It presents an opportunity for construction professionals to showcase their work and benchmark it against peers. Crucially the Awards evening is also the best opportunity of the year to mix with colleagues throughout the industry and as long-term sponsors it gives W2W a very prominent branding opportunity.”
Fit Out Awards 2018 is run by Business River. The full shortlist is available below and to read about other Business River events visit their news hub.
