Finalists have been announced for the National Procurement Awards 2017

The National Procurement Awards shortlist has been announced ahead of the ceremony which take place on Thursday, October 19th

The National Procurement Awards

Since launching in 2010 the National Procurement Awards, as part of the Business River programme, have set the benchmark for excellence in the Irish procurement profession. The winners will be announced at the gala awards ceremony which will take place on Thursday, October 19th at the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin.

Numbers are up on last year and the cream of the procurement industry will be in attendance. "Codex Office Solutions are delighted to be a key sponsor of the Procurement Awards for the past number of years.  It has given us the opportunity to promote our brand, network and build new relationships and catch up with many of our key customers who attend the awards," says Siobhan O'Connor, Codex Office Solution.

There was a huge volume of entries this year and the calibre of the shortlist shows the innovation and achievements within the industry over the last 12 months. "The Buying and selling of goods and services is a complex process for organisations in the public and private sector, and one that rarely gets recognised. The National Procurement Awards showcases the extraordinary achievements of buyers and suppliers. Entries were received from companies across many sectors, and the level of achievement was outstanding," says Wayne Dignam, judging coordinator, managing director, Tender Team.

It's such a good feeling to know that you are recognized for your work.  The benefits of entering and (hopefully) winning an award largely outweigh any reasons not to.

Ahead of the awards Nora Rubotham from Pfizer Global Procurement spoke about how they are looking forward to the big night, "We are proud to have been shortlisted for awards at this years' event.  Our team are always excited to share the news of an award with the wider company and I feel that it builds motivation within our team.  Also, it's such a good feeling to know that you are recognized for your work.  The benefits of entering and (hopefully) winning an award largely outweigh any reasons not to." says Nora Rubotham, supply base manager, Pfizer Global Procurement.
