This year's Irish Content Marketing Awards will be held at the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin, on Thursday, June 18th. It's a chance to acknowledge the increasing importance of PPC, SEO and video production across the marketing landscape.
According to Zahra Media Group, content marketing costs 62 per cent less than traditional marketing, but generates around three times as many leads. And 50 per cent of the time consumers spend online is spent engaging with custom content.
So traditional marketing metrics are rapidly being superseded by the need to attract, convert and engage.
Last year’s awards
Last year's Irish Content Marketing Awards were held at the Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin, on September 26th. Around 190 industry professionals gathered there, competing in 23 categories. Volkswagen Ireland picked up two of the evening's most coveted awards, and Eoin Mulvihill, their Digital Marketing Manager, had this to say; "The awards were amazing, and we were delighted to not only win Best Content Marketing Award – Annual Content Strategy, but also to be the recipient of the Grand Prix Award. Our team work extremely hard on all of our projects and this recognition feels well deserved."
Sinead O’Moore, who is head of Parenting Media & Content at Zahra Media Group, said of their award; “We were so proud to be awarded the Best Content Marketing Award – Membership, for everymum Membership Community. Providing purposeful, supportive and trustworthy content for the 200,000 members of the everymum community is at the core of our brand mission. And so it is great to be given this recognition in front of our industry peers, and to attend an event with the best in the Irish content marketing community”.
John Collins received the Outstanding Contribution Award, and said; "I was delighted to have my achievements in content marketing recognised in front of my industry peers. Intercom is a global company so it was great to be recognised at home, and also to see so much creative work in the Irish market being rewarded at the awards."
Cpl, who have been one of the awards core sponsors since they were established three years ago, were once again a key contributor to the evening’s success. Niamh Keenan, their Content Marketing lead, said; “At Cpl, we source and place content marketing talent daily, so it was a pleasure to be part of recognising the high standard of content marketing in Ireland at the Content Marketing Awards again this year. Huge congratulations to all the winners.”
