Shortlist announced for Irish Logistics & Transport Awards as it celebrates tenth year

More than 300 people will attend the tenth annual Irish Logistics & Transport Awards on June 7th, which has seen a 39 per cent increase in entries for 2019

With 17 categories spanning the Irish Logistics & Transport Awards, companies from all over the country have submitted entries with the hope of being shortlisted

For the last decade, The Irish Logistics & Transport Awards has been honouring industry innovators and leaders, establishing itself as the annual benchmark within the sector. On June 7th, the awards return for a tenth occasion, with interest higher than ever.

This year has seen almost 90 entries across the various categories, with those shortlisted hoping to join past winners, such as DHL Global Forwarding Ireland, Eurobase, and BWG Foods, in collecting a prestigious award on the night.

Indeed BWG Foods and DHL Global Forwarding Ireland will be hoping for another successful night, with both businesses shortlisted across various categories once again. Other companies shortlisted include, Britvic Ireland, Bus Éireann, and Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail.

NVD are shortlisted for "Transport Company of the Year", one of the standout categories in the awards.

Among the shortlisted companies is McCulla Ireland ltd. nominated for the "Logistics & Transport SME Company of the Year", "Client & Supplier Collaboration Award" and "Excellence in Warehousing". Other leading categories on the night include "Logistics Company of the Year" and "Logistics & Transport SME Company of the Year." There are 17 categories in total with an expert, independent judging panel residing over proceedings. Declan Allen, of Technological University Dublin, leads the panel and he is impressed by the standard of entries:
