Event Industry Awards

The 2017 Event Industry Awards take place on Friday, July 14th at a gala event in the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin.

Attended by hundreds of industry professionals, the EIAs offer a unique opportunity for the industry to come together, network, and celebrate their achievements among their peers. 23 trophies will be awarded on the night celebrating the very best the event industry has to offer.

Speaking about this year's awards ceremony, Clive Jackson, operations director of Actavo Events said, "we are delighted to be ongoing sponsors of the Event Industry Awards. It is important for us to support the industry we are in, as well as showcasing our own business offering at the awards also. We are looking forward to what is always a great night for the entire industry."

Event background
Launched in 2009, the Event Industry Awards celebrate excellence and showcase the very highest standards in Ireland's event industry. The EIAs is the only awards programme to honour excellence in the event industry and are a superb opportunity for the main players to come together and celebrate with their peers.

"It's the best accolade we could get, winning the award was massive for us and the team. The Event Industry Awards are the most respected awards ceremony between the UK and Ireland," says James Gavin, Grooveyard Event Management, winners of Best Event Management Company, 2016.

An independent and distinguished panel of recognised, expert judges will judge submissions. Speaking about the upcoming awards Mary O'Rawe, lecturer in Innovation Management in DIT said, "the breadth of categories and entries is testimony to the vibrancy and scope of the event industry in Ireland. The quality of entries increases year on year, and this year's entries really showed the judges how the industry is becoming increasingly professionalised. While the events themselves are widely different, what they all have in common is their innovation, creativity, and client satisfaction. I'm really looking forward to the night to celebrate the winners' achievements among their peers."
