James Kingston

Winner of a National Category Award for Best Milk Protein

James Kingston has been running the dairy farm at Maulnageragh for 13 years.n His parents, Thomas and Anne, also live on the farm.

James has been a consistently good farmer over the years, producing good results all year round and keeping his facilities in excellent condition.

James says that quality is important to him because he is producing a food product and he wants to ensure it is of a high quality and safe for consumers.

He is also very conscious of herd health. He milked 60 cows in 2014, expanding to 70 cows in 2015 and may go a little larger next year. He has adequate space and storage for this.
