Founded in 1992, Irish Landmark Trust is a building conservation charity. Irish Landmark Trust saves historic buildings in danger of being lost forever and gives them a future by making them available for self-catering holidays. This allows guests to experience and understand what our heritage has conceded to us and ensures our past has a future.

Our built heritage provides clues to our past and how our society has evolved, helping us to examine our history and traditions and enabling us to develop an awareness about ourselves.

Inchiquin House is an example of the built environment that surrounds us here in Ireland and provides the backdrop to our daily lives. For Irish Landmark Trust and the Heritage Council, exemplary and imaginative reuse of generations-old buildings is a vital part of preserving our built heritage and bringing it back into use now – and for the future.
