Last bit of golf equipment? My Ping G2 Driver, very forgiving.

Last time you took a golf cart and why? I don't like golf carts much unless it's very hot. The last time I used one was in Crandon Park Golf Club in Key Biscayne, Florida where they were mandatory and it was very hot. Great fun, though, because it had a GPS navigation system which told you your distance from the pin.

Last time you muttered an obscenity on a course and why? The last time I played . . . following another slice!

Which of the Majors would you like to attend and why? The Women's British Open, to see the best women golfers in the world. You'd be less likely to hear shouts of "in the hole" as players teed off on a par five!

Ideal golfing fourball: who and where? Annika Sorenstam, the best woman golfer in the world, Laura Davies the first woman golfer I ever saw on TV and Martina Navratilova, my childhood idol. In Mount Juliet on a warm and sunny autumn day when the trees are changing colour.

One last round on earth: where would it be? Ballybunion late on a summer's day with just a little wind.

Ralph Lauren or Lyle & Scott? As a concept, Ralph Lauren although I don't own any!

Is the Titleist Pro V1 worth the extra expense? Yes . . . I try not to get annoyed when I lose one by thinking how I don't get annoyed every time I drink a gin and tonic . . . same cost!

Best golf club food. Where? Enniscrone Golf Club. A great menu and fantastic quality of food.

140 yards out from the green. Flat. Calm. What's in your hand? Seven iron.

Favourite club in times of trouble? Wedge

Parkland or links? Links.

Must-see golfing holiday destination? I'm not a very widely travelled golfer, but I look forward to returning to Australia and New Zealand and taking on some of the courses there. It's hard to beat anywhere along the west coast of Ireland.

Hidden gem? Woodenbridge in Avoca. A magnificent course in a glorious setting.

One mulligan in life? To have won the Olympic hockey qualifier in Milton Keynes in April 2000 and qualified for the Sydney Olympics.
