1 Earliest golfing memory?
The 1984 British Open Championship. My father was - and still is - a huge Seve fan and watching him win beat Tom Watson and Bernhard Langer at St Andrews sticks in my mind. I was nine.
2 First golfing victory?
Eh, I'll keep you posted!! Every time I pick the ball out of the hole is a victory of sorts, though.
3 First time to break 90?
Playing my local course in Bangor. That was a long, long time ago and it hasn't happened very much since.
4 Last bit of golf equipment?
Odyssey White Steel 2-Ball Putter. Cost a bit but it gets more use than the rest of my clubs.
5 Last time you took a golf cart?
Only once, in Spain. It was in the mid-30s and walking wasn't an option.
6 Last time you muttered an obscenity on a golf course and why?
Oddly, I've forgotten my golf shoes a couples of times - so swearing while staring into the boot of the car is not uncommon.
7 Which of the Majors would you like to attend and why?
The Masters. I was at the Open at Hoylake last year so Augusta would have to be next on the list.
8 Ideal golfing fourball: who and where?
Me. Seve. Jack. And Tiger. Play 18 holes at Ballybunion and then drop into JB Keane's in Listowel for a Guinness.
9 One last round on earth: where?
Probably Royal County Down - it's a stunning course and if the world was about to end I'd like to be close to home!
10 Dress sense. Ian Poulter or Davis Love?
Davis Love. Although Natalie Gulbis is always well turned out.
11 Is the Titleist ProV1 worth the extra expense?
In my hands any golf ball has a limited lifespan - so I'd have to say no.
12 Best golf club food. Where?
Mount Juliet.
13 140 yards out from green. Flat Calm. What's in your hand?
Seven iron.
14 Favourite club in times of trouble?
Five iron. If all else fails (as it regularly does) the five will usually get me good "go forward ball", to borrow a rugby term.
15 Parkland or links?
Links, for the purist in me.
16 Must see golfing holiday destination?
Still on my to-do list. Sun City in South Africa always looks good and I suppose you couldn't go wrong with Florida.
17 Hidden gem (a golf course)
Connemara Isles. About 30 miles from Galway in the Connemara Gaeltacht. Great views and the Atlantic winds make it different every time you play it.
18 One Mulligan in Life?
In golf terms - I covered the 2002 Ryder Cup at the Belfry for radio. About 20 minutes after McGinley sank the winning putt a newspaper photographer took my picture with McGinley, Harrington and Clarke. I never got round to giving him my email.
