Limerick 3-12 Tipperary 0-5Limerick's impressive first-half performance helped them progress to a semi-final clash with Cork after a disappointing opening round game in Fermoy last evening.
Despite playing against the wind, Limerick led 2-6 to 0-3 at half-time. Seán Buckley landed their first goal after six minutes and five minutes later John O'Connell set up Vinnie Connell for their second goal.
The second half was a stroll for Limerick as they added 1-6 to their total. The third goal came from O'Connell in the 51st minute.
