Adare ... 0-10 Monaleen ... 1-7 There is just no stopping double seeking Adare in this season's Limerick senior championships.
Last week their hurlers over-turned a four-point deficit in the closing stages to retain their crown and yesterday, the footballers almost repeated that act when they came from three points behind to force a replay.
Backed by the breeze in the first half Monaleen were inspired by Brian Geary's 11th minute goal to lead 1-5 to 0-2 at the break. Brian Sexton launched Adare's late revival and points from Michael Clifford, Stephen Lavin and Conor Fitzgerald saved the day.
