There is a growing feeling among the first division clubs that the best means of completing the season would be to fulfil the scheduled programme of 15 matches, particularly as the IRFU have rejected the clubs' suggestion of a 12-game programme.

A provisional rearranged list of outstanding fixtures (including two rounds of midweek games) has been drawn up and could be ratified in the next day or so.
