Wins for Wicklow will hardly come any easier than this 14 points success over London at Aughrim yesterday.
Wicklow were reduced to 14 players for most of the second half with the sending off of wing-back Gary Jameson, but it made little difference against a London side who failed to score in that period.
London opened brightly, however, taking the lead twice in the first quarter, but then Wicklow took up the running with some bright performances from Steve Cush at corner back and attackers Thomas Harney, Jonathan Behan and Keith Byrne, who scored both goals.
Wicklow led by double scores 1-7 to 0-5 at the break.
