Roscommon were the big winners in yesterday's final round of the Allianz National Football League. Their 2-13 to 1-12 win over Donegal saw them top Division 1A and set up a semi-final meeting with Cavan.
By losing to Cork, Tyrone dropped to second and thus meet Mayo in the other semi-final. Mayo still topped Division 1B despite losing to Fermanagh yesterday.
Cork's victory also spelled the end for Offaly and Westmeath, who were both relegated from Division 1A. They are joined in the lower ranks by Clare and Derry from Division 1B, although their fate was sealed much earlier in the season.
Promoted from Division 2A are Kerry and Armagh, with Kerry coming up on the better scoring difference ahead of Limerick. Meath and Laois come up from Division 2B, with Wexford falling at the final hurdle.
