NFL Division Two B/ Antrim 1-13 Waterford 0-8: Waterford's failure to convert opportunities in the opening half, when playing with a strong wind, cost them as Antrim took victory in Dungarvan yesterday.

Antrim laid the foundations for the win in that half as they trailed by just 0-5 to 0-4 at the interval.

The visitors were level within three minutes of the restart when Paddy Cunningham pointed.Waterford regained the initiative, however, with two points from Gary Hurney, but they were not to score again for 28 minutes.

Cunningham converted a free in the 48th minute to give Antrim the lead for the first time and a Aodhan Gallagher goal killed the game as a contest.
