GEORGIA v BULGARIA:BULGARIA'S combative goalless draw against world champions Italy can inspire them to their first win in Group 8 qualifying when they visit Georgia this evening, their coach said.

"It's a really tough group as all of the teams have a chance (to qualify)," Plamen Markov said. "We did very well to match the world champions and I'm very pleased with the players' attitude.

"We can get a good result in Georgia if we don't underestimate them and show the same determination," he said. "They have several very good players." Bulgaria know they must play for nothing but victory in Tbilisi and should quickly turn their thoughts from Saturday's solid defensive display into much more attack-minded approach against the Georgians.

Manchester City striker Valeri Bojinov is injured but Bulgaria have little to worry about with the potent strike force of Dimitar Berbatov and Martin Petrov and in-form midfielder Stilian Petrov.

Georgia's record against Bulgaria looks bleak having lost twice and won once in the previous three games between the two European nations.

Hector Cuper's side managed to save themselves from an embarrassing loss to Cyprus on Saturday as they came back from behind to come away from what was a drab game with a point. Losses to both Ireland and Italy have left the former Soviet state's chances of qualification in tatters.

One point in three games as well as the worst defensive record in the group, having conceded five goals, have not done the Georgians any favours and they will be hoping to take their first win.
