Ardscoil Ris 0-14 Doon CBS 1-6:Limerick city side Ardscoil Rís romped into the semi-final of the Dr Harty Cup despite having to play all but two minutes of the second half with 14 players after corner back Josh O'Halloran was shown a second yellow card for dissent.
Doon managed only two pointed frees in the first half at the end of which Ardscoil had scored nine points and had also hit seven wides, such was their dominance.
Over the hour Doon had only a single point from play and their goal was scrambled over the line in the final minute by Pat Cummins.
Mark Buckley and Ronan Lynch were outstanding in defence for Ardscoil, who were on top in all sectors and up front Colin Crehan was a lively corner forward.
