Peter McEvoy has done many wonderful things during his illustrious career in golf. Recently his achievements were rewarded when he was presented with the Blue Jacket by the Legends Golf Society.

And by being honoured with the award McEvoy, currently captain of the Walker Cup team, joins many a famous name.

Other names who have been rewarded with the Blue Jacket over the years include Joe Carr, Harry Bradshaw, Peter Alliss, Christy O'Connor Senior, Peter Thomson and Doug Sanders.

It is a tremendous honour for McEvoy, who dominated the amateur game for some time highlighted by two British Amateur Championship titles. In recent years Peter has been renowned for his golf course design.
