Racing: A mouth-watering clash between the top Irish horse Azamour and the double-Oaks and Breeders' Cup heroine Ouija Board looks to be on for Wednesday's Prince Of Wales Stakes.

The two star names were among just 12 left in the 10-furlong Group One prize at yesterday's forfeit stage. A clash would provide a second day highlight of the big Royal Ascot at York fixture next week.

Ouija Board has yet to race this year but Azamour will travel to York on the back of a rather unlucky fourth to Grey Swallow in the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh last month.

Aidan O'Brien has left both Ace and Powerscourt in the Prince Of Wales and the Ballydoyle trainer also has the option of running Airwave against Soviet Song in the Group Two Windsor Forest Stakes on the same day.

Just two Irish trained fillies, Waterways (Patrick Prendergast) and Briland (Michael Halford), remain in the Group Two Queen Mary Stakes which will open proceedings on Wednesday.

This afternoon's most valuable race at Cork is the €32,500 mile handicap and the most interesting declaration here looks to be that of Significant who picked up a mark of 86 for his sole appearance to date.

That was a maiden win at Gowran and although it was only by a neck at the finish there was plenty to like about the way Significant warmed to his task as the race unfolded.

Ground which is forecast to be "yielding to soft" should be no problem and he does get a nice weight concession from the likes of Crystal View and Bective Ranger.

Jim Bolger's string are in flying form at the moment and the six-furlong maiden looks a good opportunity for National Swagger to get off the mark. She has been keeping better company than this, including a run in the Curragh Guineas, and previously was only four and a half lengths off La Cucaracha in a Group Three over six furlongs at Leopardstown.
