KERRY SHC FINAL: Ballyduff 2-18, Lixnaw 2-9: BALLYDUFF SAW off a gritty Lixnaw to win their 22nd title and join Kilmoyley on the top of the county roll of honour at a packed Austin Stack Park in Tralee yesterday.
With just five minutes left Ballyduff held a one point (1-13 to 2-9) lead, but decision to move Aidan Boyle from midfield to full forward proved key.
The scores rained down on Lixnaw, with Bobby O’Sullivan scoring three points, while and Pádraig Boyle, sub Thomas O’Rourke one each. Aidan Boyle chipped in with a 59th-minute goal that put a flattering look on the scoreboard.
