Barcelona hit hard at home

Dinamo Kiev's Andriy Shevchenko scored a first-half hat-trick against Barcelona at the Nou Camp last night

Dinamo Kiev's Andriy Shevchenko scored a first-half hat-trick against Barcelona at the Nou Camp last night. Shevchenko struck after 10 and 33 minutes before a penalty a minute before half-time gave the Ukranian champions a 3-0 interval lead.

Spanish international defender Sergi was then sent off a minute into the second-half for two bookable offences and Barcelona's nightmare night was complete when Serguei Rebrov scored 15 minutes from time to seal a 4-0 win. It was the Spanish club's heaviest defeat for 17 years.

Juventus survived a late FC Kosice fight back to stay three points behind Manchester United in group B. Alessandro Del Piero, Nicola Amoruso 56 and Daniel Fonseca put the Italians 3-0 up after just an hour, but strikes by Russian Lubarskij and Ivan Kozak gave Juve a nervous final 20 minutes.

Andreas Moller scored twice as holders Borussia Dortmund moved to the top of group A by beating Parma 2-0, the Italians' first defeat in the competition. Tugay Kerimoglu scored twice as Galatasaray beat Sparta Prague 20.
